ACCEPTED ITEMS

Our mission is to reduce waste and promote sustainability by finding new uses for old materials. While we accept a wide range of items, we do have guidelines as to what we can and cannot take. Please contact us for more information and to learn how you can get involved in reducing your environmental impact.

GENTLY USED CLOTHING
& TEXTILES

Donations are sold or recycled through the Goodwill stores that provide jobs and training for people in our community to gain skills and achieve independence.

SMALL FURNITURE
& HOUSEWARES

These donations support Goodwill of Southern Arizona and individuals involved in the job training programs available.

BROKEN BIKES
& BIKE PARTS

Bikes collected are repaired and distributed to young people in Tucson. Through the afterschool programs youth develop biking and life skills.

BOOKS

Friends of the Pima County Public Library promote literacy and raise funds to enhance library services. Books collected are recirculated in the community to promote love of reading.

MEDICATIONS

Expired or medications no longer needed are collected and disposed of through the Dispose-a-Med program in partnership with Tucson Police Dept.

DURAble medical
equipment

The medical equipment donated is distributed throughout the community to support disabled veterans.

miscellaneous Items

Iskashitaa Refugee Network is collecting Children's Books, Gardening Tools, Mason or Canning Jars, and Foreign Language Books.

paper shredding
(3 box limit)

Beacon Secure provides confidential document shredding for Southern Arizona.Paper is recycled.

ewaste

E-waste, including computer equipment and accessories are refurbished and re-sold or donated. Computer equipment is wiped and are put in working order by individuals enrolled in EVOLVE’s job training program.
